Artback NT wishes to congratulate Tammy Anderson on a great social outcome for theatre.

After a successful NT regional touring season of 'I Don't Want To Play House', Tammy Anderson has been invited by several organisations in the Tennant Creek community to return and facilitate workshops at a residency.

Starting 11 October 2010, Tammy will be working with the Stronger Sista's program at the Tennant Creek Women's Refuge, the Tennant Creek Middle School and Beyond Empathy to protect and inform children at risk in the area. Her residency will include another performance of the theatre piece that is based on her experiences during her first 15 years of 'living in 16 houses, three caravans and going to 12 schools' and raises all the now familiar issues of abuse, domestic violence, love, survival, dysfunctional families and hope.
