CLICK! Pictures of our Music, Stories in our Songs
We envisage Click! as a superb exhibition of images, videos and other related items accompanied by stories presented in a variety of media. Together these elements will demonstrate the richness of the cultural heritage and the strength and complexities of the historic and current NT Indigenous musical scene. Click! will tour nationally. Story and image elements will also be repatriated to communities at the roots of this unparalleled industry.

Glenn Campbell WW2 Darwin Photography Glenn Campbell is a Darwin based Freelance photographer and has been the official photographic artist for the Australian Defence Force with work published in The Age, The Australian and The Sydney Morning Herald. In this exhibition Campbell captures the decaying remnants of a landmark event in Australia's history: on February 19, 1942 Darwin was attacked by 188 Japanese airplanes. The 20 x 1m long black and white images are both eerie and startling reminders of the pivotal role Darwin played in our nations security. |

Good Strong Powerful This touring exhibition will showcase the extraordinary works of established and emerging Indigenous artists with disabilities which have been produced through Art Centres in the Northern Territory. Including artists from: Ngaruwanajirri on Bathurst (Tiwi) Island; Mwerre Anthurre based at Bindi Inc. in Alice Springs; and Julalikari Arts in Tennant Creek. It is envisioned that this exhibition will work towards raising the profile of artists who too often are placed into a narrow ‘art therapy’ model yet their practice is often ground breaking, inclusive and celebrate diverse artistic talent. Touring 2011: Ngaruwanajirri Inc, Bathurst (Tiwi) Island Darwin, venue tbc Civic Centre Gallery, Katherine Nyinkka Nyunyu Cultural Centre, Tennant Creek Alice Springs, venue tbc Touring 2011-13: National tour available.
