Road Safety All Stars Boot Camp

Music stars representing different languages and communities of the NT spent the last seven days of March 2014 at Mt Bundy Station creating serious music and messages about Road Safety.

As Indigenous community champions these musicians are at the forefront of delivery and advocacy for change in their communities—real change to save lives. This is a new and dynamic means of spreading the road safety message amongst Indigenous families and communities.

Dance with Death

The Road Safety All Stars represent six different language groups. They have received training in being road safety ambassadors and developed both their education and performance skills through this project.

Ten road safety songs in local language and dialect were written, performed and recorded in the space of seven intensive days. These will be shared via mobile phone technology and social media, along with video snapshot messages (see below). A free CD of their music will be released in early May and the songs will be available for download.
