Sticks Stones Broken Bones

Bunk Puppets

About

Using bits of simple cardboard, rubbish and everyday items, Jeff Achtem creates an imaginative and comical universe with his shadow puppets.

Sticks Stones Broken Bones presents a playful world shadow puppetry, appearing as live cartoons, full of odd-ball characters and surreal events. The screen comes alive with flying Ninjas, sneaky chickens and hilarious brain surgery. It’s a visual feast for the imagination! With all of the puppetry performed in front of the screen, the audience is invited to witness each moment of the visual trickery, and to see the transformation from household junk into shadow puppet melodramas.

Come play in the dark!
