Artback NT works with individuals, groups and arts based organisations to present and tour a dynamic and exciting range of arts experiences across the Territory. The touring program is diverse, incorporates strong local content and reflects both Indigenous and non-Indigenous talent and expression.

Touring in the Northern Territory of Australia guarantees you a unique opportunity to share your art and art practice with people and communities who will not only appreciate your work but the effort you have made to reach some of the most remote places in Australia.

Artback NT is interested in hearing from visual artists and performers (theatre, dance, music, circus and spoken word) and from both solo acts, groups and companies who are interested in Performing and Visual Arts touring.

The work must have already been developed, performed and be ready for touring; with evidence of publicity, promotion, touring costs, remount fees and a developed technical specification.

This is a fantastic opportunity to tour through the Northern Territory to regional centres and remote Indigenous communities with a local touring organisation which specialises in rough terrain and non-specialised venues.

Northern Territory

Artback NT: Arts Development and Touring is working with Barkly Regional Arts (BRA), Katherine Regional Arts (KRA), Nhulunbuy Ciorporation Limited, Shires and many local community organisations to be more effective in bringing to communities art and cultural experiences that meet their expectations and demands for quality cultural product.

If you are wanting an act / exhibition to come to your community, either as a one off event or activity or as a part of your community Festival, please contact either our Darwin or Alice Springs office and lodge your interest.

Outside the Northern Territory

Artback NT is able to work with organisations and communities nationally and internationally to showcase visual and performing arts talent from across the Northern Territory.

Presently we are able to work with you and your community / agency to identify your need and the availability of appropriate visual or performing arts product.

A fee is charged, which covers freight and associated travel costs as well as an artist’s fee and accommodation expenses (where appropriate). Artback NT staff will work with you to make an application for funding to ensure a successful and mutually beneficial tour.
